Got into Paris yesterday and it is a mad house riders everywhere, what could be better!
Today was a shake down ride and everything has gone well , bike is good , legs are good , beer is good.
Tomorrow we do the bike check and the club photo. Now is just a time to slow down and enjoy.

Monday i made the climb up Vallard de Notre Dame. I have wanted to make this climb for the last two years and was not disapointed this climb was one of the best climbs i have ever did. One of the unique parts of the ride is four tunnel you must travel, the second tunnel is 1k long without light my little light seemed to get sucked dry. Added to the fact that it was poring water from the everywhere. The views were wonderfull not to be missed.
Yesterday was the climb up the Glandon this was the third i have ever climbed the mountion but was well worth the climb. The weather was great, a slight chill but very sunny. I ended up doing 166k for the day , great training ride!

Today i travel to paris. It did not start very well, just before the train left i was told that i must first get a stamp on my ticket and it would not be avalable untill 7 am. I would miss all my trains today, so i just jumped on the first train and decided to roll the dice. In the in i had to pay an extra 60 euros but i got to stay on the train to paris. In paris i get to do it all over again , what fun! Act like a dumb american and go for it.
Tomorrow i hope to be in the french alps may take a day off and wash clothe and relax will decide then , i have a sinus infection and need to get over it.
Yesterday was a good day for riding got to Munich by 3pm got the bike pulled apart and in the suit case , then went to a real beer garden, it is very much like food alley at the garlic festable butt these beers were much larger. This idea would work very well and idea worth looking into.

Here is the back side oc the castle. What a great view, i had to push the bike up a gravel road for a hour to get this picture but. It was worth it.

When i post one must remember that i have rode 100 miles with full panniers, have arrived ,showered and am working on number two or three beer. So my spelling or content may be off but life is still wonderfull.

This is the climb from Berchtesgaden up to Eagles Nest 22% up to the halfway point then you have to take the bus. It was a good thing i had for goed the climb i did not get to Rosenhiem until 7 pm . I got lost so many times i stoped counting. 40k extra and many hours looking at the map and gps. Give me the roads in France those i can navagate.

This was a great little Hostel i stayed in , in Salzburg. I had a 6 person room and had to guys and three girls in the room, of course i was the old man. They were together spending two months buming around europe.
